WowWee Joebot - Price, Avaliability, Pre-Order and Stock Checker

Well the Femisapien may have been WowWee's first robot aimed at the female of the species, but not there's a robot that's not as feminine as that one and not as mainly as the Robosapien - its called the Joebot Toy Robot and is due out sometime between September and Christmas this year.

Joebot dances, is humourous and is a lot more dexterous that its previous male counterpart. But don't get lulled into a false sense of security, this one has a battle mode where you can find with him using an ordinary TV controller.

Learn a bit more about the JoeBot in this video (after the bit about the Alive Cub)

The bit I found interesting was that it's basically a robotic beatbox machine too where you can tap a rhythm on its head and it'll play the beat back to you, you can even just clap your hands and it'll mimic you.

JoeRobot Features

The JoeRobot will obviously walk autonomously as well as respond to voice commands and act as a beat box but also sensors will tell it when its fallen over and has a variety of operation modes such as:

* Autonomous
* Talk
* Guard
* Patrol
* Dance Demo
* Battle mode

JoeRobot Technical Specifications

We're awaiting these! But expect it to take 6 AA batteries

JoeRobot Price

We're thinking somewhere around the £69.99 mark

Rovio Launch 26th September - But Gone From Sole UK Distribute Site

The Rovio may be due to launch on the 26th September but it's been removed from the website of the sole UK authorise distributor - RED 5. It was there yesterday so I have no idea what's going on! I've got the contact details of the website administrator so I'll try and get an answer out of him!

I'll try and keep you posted!
