Lego and N.I. Developing New Robot

The two companies are coming together to develop the Lego Mindstorms NXT robot. Lego and NI have been working together since 1998 on RoboLab which is programming software sfor Lego Mindstorms that developed for Schools.

The new teaching robot will be let loose in August this year and will have 32 bit processors, new motors, sensors, bluetooth etc. The sofware apparently searches the internet for new robots created etc. Pretty damn interesting if you ask me.
