48. KITT - Boy does this take me back. I remember the first episode as I was getting ready for Scouts. The hype was a amazing - just like it was for me when David Hasselhoff's Bay Watch was later in my life. A car that could talk and make decisions as to whether fly over a lorry of spin around it was amazing - and looking at my driving, perhaps I should try and get one!
47. HAL 9000 - Now this "robot" (I prefer artificial life form) was startling and just as eary! The 1968 film was a truely amazing and poignant. But one thing that not a lot of people know, HAL is meant to be one letter from IBM i.e. H is one letter above I, A is one letter below B and L is also one letter below M. Or is it me just looking to much into things?
